Charles (Chuck) Meeker holds advanced degrees and training in the life sciences, including biochemistry, molecular biology, oncological sciences, and biotechnology. Clients value his extensive knowledge in these areas to help them understand and navigate the unique challenges of IP prosecution in these and other fields. In the U.S. and overseas, clients rely on his experience to counsel and execute on issues related to the procurement and protection of intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, trade dress, trade secrets, and copyrights, as well as strategic legal and business decisions related to IP monetization, licensing, enforcement, and defense, and IP-related acquisition and due diligence.

- PCR technologies and DNA melting curve analysis

Chuck has also been instrumental in many of his clients’ successful launch, sale, and licensing of patented technologies, merger/acquisition by industry leaders, and defense and maintenance of challenged IP.
