Peter F. Malen Jr.

Mr. Malen’s current practice is concerned with domestic and foreign intellectual property matters in the areas of patents and trademarks.


Mr. Malen is licensed as a professional engineer in the State of Washington and, prior to joining the firm, was employed for thirteen years as a mechanical engineer with the Department of Defense. Mr. Malen worked in various capacities for the Department of Defense specializing in design and troubleshooting of a variety of mechanical systems on aircraft carriers and surface combatants.

While in law school, Mr. Malen worked as a law clerk for the Antitrust Division of the Washington State Attorney General’s Office in Seattle, WA.
