Brittany Frandsen is a civil litigator who specializes in complex civil litigation and online enforcement of intellectual property assets such as trademarks, patents, and copyrights. Brittany has extensive experience prosecuting and defending intellectual property infringement claims in both state and federal court, as well as considerable experience with trademark cancellation and opposition proceedings at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Brittany also regularly assists her clients with IP enforcement on the Internet and has successfully removed thousands of knockoff and copycat listings from sites including Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and Alibaba. Brittany has also acquired the URLs for many counterfeit websites through UDRP proceedings. Brittany is a registered patent attorney with a background in prosecuting patent and trademark applications and relies on her prosecution background in her litigation efforts.
Brittany is also passionate about mentoring students and younger attorneys. She has been a member of the firm’s recruiting committee and an adjunct professor at both Brigham Young University and the University of Utah. She is involved in local intellectual property and litigation organizations, including the local IP Inn of Court and IP and Litigation sections of the Utah State Bar.
