Shane K. Jensen

As a patent attorney for over two decades, Shane Jenson focuses on patent preparation and prosecution. From microcontrollers and integrated circuit chip design to semiconductor lasers, fiber optics, electronic test equipment, software, wireless communication systems, video compression/decompression systems, and medical devices, Shane’s experience in the technology sector is far-reaching.

In particular, Shane works with both US-based and non-US-based clients in obtaining and protecting their IP portfolios. Shane regularly travels to his US-based clients and his clients in Europe and Asia to advise and consult on the best strategies to maximize their patent and other IP protection. Shane’s broad technical background and legal experience allow him to readily understand his client’s complex technologies and how best to protect these technologies.

Prior to becoming a patent attorney, Shane had a previous career as an electrical engineer with defense contractor Raytheon Systems Company, where he was responsible for RF analog hardware design and testing surface radar and missile systems and software.
