Shareholder

With a keen understanding of clients’ businesses from nearly a decade as a modeler/animator and 3D visualization specialist for a leading 3D computer animation and modeling firm, Matthew set his sights on applying his creative talents to the field of law. A shareholder in Workman Nydegger’s Patent Trademark, and Copyright practice groups, Matthew handles all aspects of litigation including intellectual property, complex commercial litigation, contract/licensing disputes, UDRP proceedings and other domain name disputes. He also handles Trademark and Patent Prosecution, and other Intellectual Property Matters, as well as licensing and agreements.
Clients rely on Matthew’s extensive experience involving complex litigation, including enforcement of trademark and other soft intellectual property rights, enforcement of patents (including mechanical implements, software, and architectural structures), breach of contract, unfair competition, and other related cases. His experience includes U.S. ad international trademark prosecution, drafting license agreements and other complex corporate agreements, and Inter Partes Conflicts and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
Outside of the office, Matthew serves as an adjunct Faculty member of J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University. He also enjoys the rigors as a volunteer coach of youth rugby teams through American Fork Rugby Club.
