  • Drafted and updated privacy policies to assist with data privacy compliance
  • Provided company-wide data privacy compliance trainings
  • Conducted reviews of companies’ third-party data processing agreements, including cross-border data transfer mechanisms where applicable

Shelise is from Southern California and moved to Utah to attend Brigham Young University, were she obtained both her undergrad and law school degrees. Shelise enjoys reading, writing, and literature and majored in English before attending law school. In fact, Shelise grew up reading intellectual property textbooks from her family’s library, which helped set the foundation for her career. Shelise has worked in an office of general counsel, as a research fellow, with BYU’s Copyright Licensing Office, and with previous firms on IP matters. Shelise also participated in a number of moot court competitions which she enjoys attending.
