Patent Lawyer Sterling D. Fillmore Joins Workman Nydegger

Sterling D. Fillmore has joined Workman Nydegger, Utah’s largest intellectual property law firm, where he will specialize in preparing and filing U.S. and international patent applications. Fillmore, who worked previously at Rader Fishman & Grauer in Washington D.C., also counsels clients about patent infringement, licensing and due diligence of intellectual property portfolios during acquisitions and mergers.

He graduated from the George Mason University School of Law in 2009 and has a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Brigham Young University. He is admitted to the Virginia State Bar, District of Columbia Bar and is a registered U.S. Patent Attorney.

His technical experience includes semiconductor devices, electrical circuitry, optics/lenses, electro-mechanical systems, medical devices and nanotechnology. Fillmore’s articles have been published in the Journal of Colloid Interface Science and the National Nanofabrication Users Network Conference Report. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and American Bar Association.
