On November 2nd, 2017, the Litigation Section of the Utah State Bar hosted “Meet the Litigators,” a panel discussion on careers in litigation. Nine attorneys and one judge introduced a group of about fifty law students to a wide variety of careers in government and private practice and civil and criminal law. Panelists discussed their practice areas, shared advice, and generously spent time visiting with students after the presentation. The panel was held at the University of Utah’s S. J. Quinney College of Law and moderated by Workman Nydegger Shareholder, James McConkie.  Mr. McConkie sits on the Litigation Section’s Executive Committee and is responsible for law student relations.

The Litigation Section would like to thank those who participated in the panel, including Bill Beesley of Wilford Beesley, P.C., Jim Bradshaw of Brown, Bradshaw & Moffat, Kent Burggraaf and Kyle Kaiser of the Utah Attorney General’s Office, Tim Codie of Stoel Rives, Judge Susan Eisenman, Bryant McConkie of Ray Quinney & Nebeker, Cory Memmott of Ray Lego & Associates, Chad Nydegger of Workman Nydegger, and Brad Parker of Parker McConkie. The Section would also like to thank the Law School’s career services office for co-sponsoring this event.
