David P. Johnson Named Shareholder at Workman Nydegger

David P. Johnson has been named shareholder at Workman Nydegger, Utah’s largest intellectual property firm.

Mr. Johnson, who is a registered patent attorney, received a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Utah. He then proceeded to graduate with High Honors from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. He currently serves as the coach for the College of Law’s Giles Rich I.P. moot court team.

Mr. Johnson has represented clients in state and federal courts in various matters. He has experience litigating cases involving wireless systems, exercise and sports equipment, fuel additives, ready-to-assemble furniture, patio furniture, human resource management software, nutraceuticals, medical devices, and the payment card industry. Mr. Johnson has also represented clients in front of the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board in inter partes review proceedings, trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Johnson also maintains an active patent and trademark prosecution practice, and enjoys helping his clients use intellectual property to further their business goals.
