Brad Barger Advances to Non-Equity Shareholder, David Johnson and Timothy Nichols Named Equity Shareholders

Workman Nydegger is pleased to announce the promotion of W. Brad Barger to Non-Equity Shareholder David P. Johnson and Timothy D. Nichols  to Equity Shareholders.

Mr. Barger’s practice focuses on the procurement and protection of intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, trade dress, trade secrets, and copyrights. He has experience pursuing patent protection within a broad array of subject matters, including computer systems, telecommunications, software, plasma display circuits, mining and drilling equipment and electronics, synthetic diamond manufacturing, bio-medical devices, and many other technology fields.

Mr. Johnson has a broad range of IP and branding experience, including extensive experience in state and federal courts around the country. His practice involves e-commerce enforcement, trademark prosecution and portfolio management, utility and design patent prosecution, and all aspects of IP and complex business litigation. In addition to his work in the courtroom, Dave represents clients in inter partes review proceedings at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, reexamination proceedings at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and opposition and cancellation proceedings at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Mr. Nichols is a former engineer and federal law clerk who today represents companies of all sizes in patent, trademark, and copyright matters. He regularly counsels clients regarding the procurement and licensing of their intellectual property, and guides them through the intricate nuances of online marketplaces to better manage, protect, and extract revenue from their intellectual property portfolio.
