In the state of Utah, the relationship between an attorney and a client is based in part on Rule 1.5 of the Utah Rules of Professional Conduct.  As addressed in detail in the attached slide presentation, this rule applies to matters such as determining a reasonable fee, client engagement letters, representation on a fixed-fee basis, representation on a contingent fee basis, and other related topics.
