Workman Nydegger’s John Guynn Awarded Best Technical Paper at 2015 IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Conference

Workman Nydegger Shareholder John Guynn, together with John Kline of Kline Consulting, LLC, recently co-authored and presented a paper at the 2015 IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Conference.  The paper, titled “Maximizing SCM Content of Blended Cements”, was awarded first place for best technical paper at the conference.

The presentation and paper describe a method for enhancing the strength of cementitious blends containing cement and supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs).  Mr. Guynn also explained how increased use of SCMs reduces the environmental footprint of concrete.

Mr. Guynn has gained a reputation as one of the most technically knowledgeable patent attorneys in the field of cement and concrete, and has represented several clients in this field.
