Brent Lorimer, a senior litigator at Utah’s largest intellectual property law firm, will be a featured speaker at CenterForce’s IP Strategy Summit at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palo Alto, California on January 21.
Mr. Lorimer, who is the only speaker from Utah, will speak about litigation and trial preparation. Along with two other panelists, Mr. Lorimer will address cost management, risk/reward appetite and setting clear objectives for defense. Other featured speakers include technology law experts from DuPont, Zynga, IBM, Hewlett Packard and Altera.
During his 30 year litigation career, Mr. Lorimer has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts from New York to California. He has obtained multiple eight figure awards and settlements for his clients. This year, Best Lawyers® designated him as Salt Lake City Lawyer of the Year in two categories: Intellectual Property Litigation and Trademark Law. Only two other lawyers in Utah are ranked as Lawyers of the Year in two practice areas.
