In law school, Mr. Oldham served as the president for the Intellectual Property Student Organization (IPSO). Academic and achievement awards presented to Mr. Oldham in law school include the following: The Dean’s Academic Scholarship, The Locke Liddell and Sapp Technology Award for having the highest GPA with a technical background in a first-year class section, and the Carothers Prize for outstanding contribution to the study of intellectual property. He was an articles editor for the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal and a student editor for the patstats.org website, a website dedicated to reporting statistics on patent litigation in the United States, and he is conversant in Swedish.
