Workman Nydegger Shareholder Coaches First Place Team of Regional AIPLA Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Moot Court Competition

David Jaffa and Mike Eixenberger of the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law were awarded first place in the 43rd Annual AIPLA Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Moot Court Regional Competition held in Palo Alto, CA.  Coached by Workman Nydegger Shareholder David Johnson, the team will continue on to the National Finals Competition held in Washington, DC April 13th – 15th.

The competition consisted of each team preparing two briefs and participating in multiple rounds of oral arguments before three judge panels.  David Jaffa and Michael Eixenberger won the award for best appellant brief and defeated teams from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, UC Berkeley School of Law, University of Pennsylvania Law School, and George Washington University Law School on their way to the title.
