W|N is continuing its sponsorship of the Utah Entrepreneur Challenge (UEC) organized by the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. The Utah
Entrepreneur Challenge is a competition of business plans submitted by teams of students from the various colleges and universities around Utah. Teams may be of any size, but to be eligible, students are required to be enrolled in at least 9 credit hours during two semesters in the competition year. Teams are given a period of 7 months to develop a business plan for submission to the competition. The business plans are judged and a grand prize of $40,000 is awarded to the most promising business plan. The top finalists also receive awards of cash and in-kind services. As in previous years, W|N will be awarding the Patent Technology Award. More information on the competition is available at www.uec.utah.edu.
