W|N’s Rick Nydegger Receives International Recognition As Among Top Patent Lawyers

April 15, 2011

W|N’s Rick Nydegger, one of the firm’s founding shareholders, has been selected for inclusion in the 2011 edition of The International Who’s Who of Patent Lawyers and in the 2012 edition of The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers.

The International Who’s Who of Patent Lawyers and The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers are widely used and respected international ratings services for lawyers.  Listings are compiled by distributing questionnaires to leading international firms and corporations, from which a list is compiled of those repeatedly mentioned.  Those individuals are then researched through the legal press, periodicals and the internet, and preliminary lists of the recommended lawyers are then circulated for comment among leading firms and corporations.  International Who’s Who then refines the final listing through telephonic or face-to-face interviews to arrive at its final listing of who it considers to be pre-eminent in their respective field.

Founded more than 25 years ago, Workman Nydegger is one of largest firms in Salt Lake, and has consistently earned recognition as one of the top intellectual property firms in the nation.  The firm represents a wide array of clients in all areas of intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, and related litigation and licensing matters, and in a diverse range of technologies, including computer systems, software, e-commerce and information technology; electronics and electrical engineering; pharmaceutical, neutraceutical, chemical, biotechnology, and medical and life science technologies; physics and optics; mechanics and mechanical engineering and alternative energy.
