W|N’s Rick Nydegger, one of the firm’s founding shareholders, has been selected for inclusion in the 2012 edition of The International Who’s Who of Patent Lawyers, the 2012 edition of The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers, and the 2012 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the practice area of Patent Law. Mr. Nydegger is one of a distinguished group of attorneys nationwide who have been listed in Best Lawyers for over ten years.
Listings for The International Who’s Who of Patent Lawyers and The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers are compiled by distributing questionnaires to leading international firms and corporations, from which a list is compiled of those repeatedly mentioned. Those individuals are then researched through the legal press, periodicals and the internet, and preliminary lists of the recommended lawyers are then circulated for comment among leading firms and corporations. International Who’s Who then refines the final listing through telephonic or face-to-face interviews to arrive at its final listing of who it considers to be pre-eminent in their respective field.
Selection to Best Lawyers is based on a rigorous peer-review survey utilizing more than 2.5 million confidential evaluations by top attorneys in the country practicing in the various sectors for which selections are made. The Best Lawyers annual, advertisement-free publication has been described in The American Lawyer as “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
“We are extremely proud of the international and national recognition which Rick continues to bring to himself and, through him, to our firm. “These are some of the most highly respected lawyer rating services in our profession, and recognition by them is a singular honor,” said Brent P. Lorimer, W|N’s managing director.
