W|N’s Shauna Huston Recognized For Excellence At National Awards Ceremony of Association of Legal Administrators

W|N's Shauna Huston was recently recognized at the 2010 Quest Awards of the national Association of Legal Administrator's as one of the nation's top three new legal administrators.  At the Quest Awards, held in Boston, MA, Shauna was selected as second runner up to this year's top new legal administrator from among some 900 applicants nationwide.

Shauna was nominated for the award by Scott R. Mecham, President of the Utah Association of Legal Administrator's. In his nomination, Mr. Mecham noted that "The most noteworthy way Shauna has distinguished herself as an outstanding new ALA member is the leadership role she undertook to revamp the format of the Utah Association of Legal Administrators' annual salary and benefits survey.  Shauna formed and led a committee through an extensive redesign of the survey, assisting in drafting survey templates for committee discussion, coordinating and consolidating final drafts, migration from a paper survey to a web-based platform, and negotiation of a favorable arrangement with an accounting firm to assist with assembly and presentation of survey results."  Mr. Mecham noted that "Shauna's willingness to jump into this effort and her exceptional ability to execute it will benefit the chapter and the law firms it serves for many years to come.  She shines as a leader, facilitator and administrator, and does so with poise and friendliness."
